In a unexpected crossover event that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official statement, "A strange encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
